A journey of growth since 1969

A journey of growth since 1969

Svend Møller Hansen founded his first company in Hobro in 1969. From there, Dansk Stålkonstruktion continued to grow, and following the acquisition of several companies, including businesses within concrete production, all companies were brought together under DS Gruppen in 1999.

Today, DS Gruppen comprises DS Flexhal, a turnkey contractor delivering all types of commercial buildings; DS Stålkonstruktion, which designs, manufactures and installs steel structures; DS Elcobyg, which designs and manufactures precast concrete elements; and DS Stålprofil, which supplies roof and facade cladding in thin-sheet steel. DS Gruppen is headquartered in Hobro, Denmark, and has sales offices in Norway, Sweden and Germany.

DS Gruppen and all companies in the group are owned by GOLDBECK which, under the ambition “building excellence”, delivers around 500 future-oriented properties a year across Europe. GOLDBECK employs more than 13,000 people at more than 100 locations across Europe.
