It has been an incredibly exciting training programme, and I was given an enormous amount of responsibility from day one. I was not “just the trainee”, placed in a corner with tasks no one else wanted to do. DS Stålprofil has no “trainee tasks” – I did the same work as my colleagues in the department, was given independent tasks, and I was allowed to see them through to completion. However, anyone may need help, regardless of age and experience, and this is a workplace where it is perfectly acceptable to ask your colleagues for help.
