At DS Stålkonstruktion, we take apprenticeship training seriously, and we are proud that this is also recognised externally. We have been honoured several times as an outstanding apprenticeship workplace: in 2024 we received two titles as “Apprenticeship Workplace of the Year” at Tradium in Randers and Mercantec in Viborg, and in 2025 we once again won “Apprenticeship Workplace of the Year” at Techcollege in Aalborg among more than 30 vocational programmes. The most important proof, however, comes from those it is all about: our apprentices. It is their feedback that highlights what we want to be known for: a safe community, high professional standards, and a working day where there is always someone to ask. A particularly large share of the credit goes to our apprenticeship coordinators Nuun Ebert Nielsen and Claus Barnewitz, as well as all colleagues in production who every day contribute with guidance, training, and wellbeing.
DS Gruppen was founded in 1969 and comprises DS Flexhal, a turnkey contractor delivering all types of commercial buildings; DS Stålkonstruktion, which designs, manufactures and installs steel structures; DS Elcobyg, which designs and manufactures precast concrete elements; and DS Stålprofil, which supplies roof and facade cladding in thin sheet steel.
