DS Gruppen A/S looks back on a 2025/26 financial year characterised by intense competition, declining activity in key parts of the market and a major fire at DS Stålkonstruktion. PRESS RELEASE Hobro, 29 September 2026
During the financial year, DS Gruppen generated total revenue of approximately DKK 2.4 billion and ended the year with equity of approximately DKK 1.3 billion. At the same time, the Group invested almost DKK 80 million and took further steps in organisational development, new market opportunities and international activities.
“The 2025/26 financial year was characterised by considerable competitive pressure and a stagnating market. On top of this, we faced exceptionally high costs as a result of the fire at DS Stålkonstruktion. This makes me all the more pleased with the strength demonstrated by our employees, customers and partners throughout the year. Despite these challenges, we have maintained our market position, successfully delivered important customer projects and, at the same time, continued to invest strategically in the future,” says Morten Kaad.
Continued Operations and Rebuilding Following Major Fire
One of the year’s biggest challenges arose in October 2025, when DS Stålkonstruktion was hit by a major fire that caused significant damage to its production facilities. The fire had a considerable impact on the company’s financial performance for the year, but customer projects were able to continue and be completed while rebuilding progressed at an impressive pace. At the same time, DS Stålkonstruktion modernised its production capacity and invested more than DKK 60 million in facilities and infrastructure during the financial year, in addition to the rebuilding work following the fire damage.
Investing in Future Development

Collaboration between the business units was intensified, while key management and leadership processes were further developed. At the same time, collaboration with GOLDBECK was expanded, with a focus on sharing expertise, experience and market opportunities across the Group.
DS Gruppen also worked to lay the foundationsfor new business areas, products and market opportunities, as well as the further development of its activities in Scandinavia and selected European markets.
“Alongside successfully managing our day-to-day operations, we have consistently worked on the future of the Group. Our focus has been on organisational development, further strengthening our market position, pursuing new business opportunitiesand developing even closer collaboration within DS Gruppen and with GOLDBECK. These initiatives provide the foundation for long-term, profitable growth,” concludes Mike Flörke.
