How Do You Get to Know DS Gruppen in One Day?

We welcomed a large group to our New to DS induction day yesterday. With several companies, disciplines and business areas on the programme, there was plenty for our new colleagues to experience.

The day began at the head office with the story of DS Gruppen and our journey into GOLDBECK, before Jonas Bang Eriksen, Morten Kragelund and Steffan Brandt Jørgensen provided an insight into DS Flexhal and its work with turnkey contracts and commercial construction.

The tour then continued to DS Elcobyg, where Flemming Hvidberg Madsen shared his extensive knowledge of concrete, production and the many possibilities offered by precast concrete elements.

After lunch, the tour continued to DS Stålkonstruktion, where Kenny Ursin showed the group around the production halls and provided an insight into the expertise behind large and complex steel structures.

The next stop was DS Stålprofil, where Rasmus Revsbæk Hansen talked about the production of roofing and façade solutions in sheet steel – and the many architectural possibilities the material offers.

Back at the head office, the day concluded with a look at our shared services, where Birgitte Svejstrup, Svanborg Gudjonsdottir and Morten Abildgaard Hansen explained the common functions that support the companies across DS Gruppen.

Many impressions, many disciplines and quite a few steps later, one thing had hopefully become clear: DS Gruppen is home to many different specialists, and we are strongest when our knowledge and expertise work together.
