On Wednesday 13 May 2026, our logistics apprentice at DS Stålkonstruktion, Daniel Frandsen, sat his examination at HEG in Aars, where he defended his final project. He did so with great confidence and achieved an excellent result: a well-deserved top grade of 12.

Daniel’s final project focuses on the digitalisation and improvement of logistics processes in the assembly department at DS Stålkonstruktion. The project is based on specific day-to-day workflows while also looking ahead to new, smarter solutions that can help strengthen these processes in the future.
Following the examination, HEG nominated Daniel for the “Trade Test Award 2026”, presented by the Danish Chamber of Commerce, HK Commerce and HK Private. The award will be presented at Axelborg on 2 October, with a first prize of DKK 25,000.
“We are proud of Daniel’s tremendous commitment and the effort he has put into his project. This is a wonderful recognition, and we look forward to following his progress through the next stage,” says Head of Assembly Torben Larsen.
