Meet our sustainability group

DS Gruppen has established a sustainability group with employees from all four subsidiaries. The purpose of the group is to coordinate work on shared processes, knowledge sharing and the development of internal targets relating to environmental, climate and occupational health and safety matters across the companies. The sustainability group was established in June 2022. Several of our subsidiaries have, for a number of years, been working on specific initiatives within the environmental and climate area. For example, DS Stålprofil has achieved Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze certification for its main steel profile product group. DS Flexhal also works continuously on project documentation for construction projects in accordance with, among others, the BREEAM® and DGNB standards when requested by the client. The sustainability group began as an ERFA group and today functions as an internal steering group that brings together the competences working with environmental, climate and occupational health and safety-related processes in DS Gruppen. The group’s role is to create a common direction for the work and ensure that experience and methods are shared across the companies.

Nicolaj Andersen Hagengaard talks about what he works with as an Environment and Climate Specialist at DS Stålkonstruktion and explains how DS Stålkonstruktion works to create a healthy and safe working environment as well as good workplaces and a strong local business community.
