Introduction
This privacy policy applies to the collection and processing of personal data about you in connection with your contact with DS Gruppen A/S and all companies thereunder: DS Stålkonstruktion A/S, DS Flexhal A/S, DS Elcobyg A/S and DS Stålprofil A/S.
In certain situations, DS Gruppen uses and registers a range of personal data about you, including when you use our website, in connection with a job application, when your company establishes a customer relationship with us, or as part of our business of producing and selling steel and concrete solutions for construction and industry.

As a supplier to our customers, we take your data protection seriously. We process personal data in connection with the supply of steel structures and have therefore adopted this privacy protection policy, which tells you how we process your data.

The purposes of and legal basis for the processing of your personal data
We collect and store your information in connection with your contact with us, or in connection with the fulfilment of our agreement on the supply of steel structures, cf. Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation and other lawful business purposes.
Categories of personal data
Customer relationship: If you are a customer of DS Gruppen or a potential customer, we generally process your information in order to be able to offer our solutions to you (with a view to entering into or fulfilling an agreement we have with you or the company you represent).
Company information is generally not covered by the General Data Protection Regulation, but depending on the circumstances we may process your identity, contact and professional information, including name, e-mail address, telephone number, your home address, your position, your educational background and information about our business relationship.
In addition, we process information about financial matters, including payment information and tax information. The legal basis for our processing is Article 6(1)(b) and (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Our website: Our website uses cookies. When you visit the website, you simultaneously accept our use of cookies. We use cookies solely for statistical purposes, so that we can make the website more user-friendly, efficient and targeted. The information is anonymous, and we therefore cannot see who you are. We never pass on information to others.

Job application: When we collect and register your data, it is stored digitally in such a way that only a few, relevant employees have access to your data. We therefore handle your data in a responsible manner and ensure that outside persons do not have the opportunity to gain access to your information.
If you are hired for the position to which your job application is directed, we will store your job application in your personnel file, which also only a few, relevant employees have access to.
If you receive a rejection for a position you have applied for, we generally store your job application for 6 months. This is done so that we have the opportunity to review your application again if a similar position should arise during the period. After the 6 months, your application is deleted, unless you have given written consent for us to keep your information for a longer period.
Data processors to whom we entrust your personal data
In certain cases, we entrust your personal data to DS Gruppen’s partners and suppliers, e.g. IT suppliers, intra-group companies, etc. These partners only process the personal data on behalf of DS Gruppen and in accordance with DS Gruppen’s instructions.
We may also pass on your information to external third parties if we are required to do so, or if it is part of the service we provide to you. This could, for example, be to the Danish Tax Agency (SKAT), other public authorities or external partners.
If there is a requirement that we enter into data processing agreements with these partners, then we have entered into these. This means that these parties also comply with the legislation on personal data. We do not obtain your consent to entrust your personal data to a data processor, or if we are legally obliged to pass on your personal data, e.g. as part of a report to an authority.
Transfer to recipients in third countries, including international organisations
DS Gruppen does not transfer your information to third countries (countries outside the EU and EEA).
Security
We have high standards for security, also when it comes to the protection of your personal data. Therefore, we have a range of internal procedures and policies that ensure that we live up to our high security standards and thus meet the requirements for implementing appropriate technical and organisational security measures. In this way, we do our best to ensure the quality and integrity of your personal data. If you need to send us sensitive personal data, we recommend that you use encryption, e.g. secure e-mail or a password-protected file (Word or PDF format).
Retention and deletion of your personal data
We delete your personal data when we no longer need to process it to fulfil one or more of the purposes set out above. However, special statutory rules, including in e.g. the Bookkeeping Act or the Limitation Act, may give us the obligation or right to store it for a longer period.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of rights in relation to our processing of information about you. If you wish to make use of your rights, you must contact us.
The right to withdraw consent
Should you have given us consent for something beyond the supply of steel structures, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time. If you withdraw your consent, we will cease processing your personal data, unless we are entitled or obliged to continue the processing or storage of your personal data on another basis, including under the law. The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing that took place before the withdrawal of consent.
Right of access (right to access)
You have the right to gain access to the information we process about you, as well as a range of additional information.
Right to rectification (correction)
You have the right to have incorrect information about yourself corrected.
Right to erasure
In special cases, you have the right to have information about you deleted before the time of our ordinary general deletion occurs.
Right to restriction of processing
In certain cases, you have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted. If you have the right to have the processing restricted, we may in future only process the information – apart from storage – with your consent, or for the purpose of establishing, asserting or defending legal claims, or to protect a person or important public interests.
Right to object
In certain cases, you have the right to object to our or lawful processing of your personal data. You can also object to the processing of your information for direct marketing.
Right to transmit data (data portability)
In certain cases, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, as well as to have this personal data transferred from one data controller to another without hindrance.
