Values

Values

Our values are trust, responsibility, humanity, commitment and pioneering spirit, and they form the foundation for future development and growth.

Trust is reflected in products and projects and is the key to successful relationships with customers and partners. Responsibility involves a focus on sustainability, ethics, safety and reliability. Humanity for us means showing mutual respect, promoting diversity and inclusion, and ensuring our employees thrive and feel valued. Our sponsorship strategy is based on promoting young people’s mental health and well-being. A high level of commitment ensures development, expertise and quality in all areas. And the pioneering spirit fosters innovation and flexibility.

DS Group is a story of ingenuity, drive, decisiveness and vision. It began in 1969 and is, above all, a story of integrity. Of never compromising on either morals or quality. And of creating continuous growth on a solid foundation of business acumen, customer service and expertise.

Today we create turnkey buildings, steel structures, concrete elements and steel cladding with unique design flexibility and high quality – always delivered on time and at the agreed price. In close collaboration with our customers, we take pride in turning ideas and needs into reality and delivering results that exceed expectations.

DS Group companies

DS Group consists of the companies DS Flexhal, DS Stålkonstruktion, DS Elcobyg and DS Stålprofil. The group is headquartered in Hobro, with branch offices in Aarhus and Roskilde as well as sales offices in Norway, Sweden and Germany.

Sustainability

Sustainability

Responsibility has been a focus area for DS Group companies for many years. This applies to our collaboration with customers and partners as well as to our internal work processes. Therefore, we have established a joint cross-disciplinary sustainability group that coordinates efforts related to certifications and internal initiatives.

In projects where the framework allows, relevant environmental considerations are incorporated in the design and planning phase, for example in connection with material choices and resource consumption.

DS Group is a member of Rådet for Bæredygtigt Byggeri, which acts as a knowledge and networking forum for the construction and property industry. The membership helps ensure that we can follow developments in standards, tools and recommendations in this area.

Working environment

Working environment

At DS Gruppen, we maintain a constant focus on safety and health for our employees. To ensure a smooth and efficient decision-making process in matters concerning the working environment, we have decentralised that part of the organisation. All day-to-day decisions regarding the working environment are therefore made within the individual working environment groups. We know that our employees are our most important resource. DS Gruppen has a strong corporate culture, where dialogue and collaboration are the focal point of our success.

CSR and sponsorships

We have a particular social responsibility due to our industry, our size and not least our strong local roots in Hobro, where our headquarters and large parts of our production are based. However, we also have extensive activities in the rest of Denmark, Germany, Norway and Sweden. Our sponsorship strategy is based on “Young people’s mental health and wellbeing”.

Today, we see that many young people are facing challenges – data and the media debate leave no doubt that we must take action if we want a future in which all young people are more resilient, have higher self-esteem and, above all, thrive in the labour market and life that await them. We would like to contribute to this.

Our sponsorships are therefore allocated for 2024 and 2025 as follows:

We collaborate with Hobro IK (25 years as main sponsor with a focus on teams at all levels right up to the first team), Rosendal IK, AMBU, Børns Vilkår, HeadSpace, Julemærkehjemmene, Ungdommens Røde Kors and Fonden Bindeleddet. In addition, we have a tradition of donating to Knæk Cancer, which may seem slightly outside the category. However, here we are thinking of our employees and everyone else who are affected by the disease. We all know someone.
