Our ESG strategy

DS Gruppen works purposefully with responsible business operations across our companies. Our ESG strategy builds on the initiatives and activities we have already launched and describes the areas in which we are working to improve our environmental, social and governance efforts. The environmental area constitutes a large part of this work. In our manufacturing companies, we have ongoing projects focusing on material efficiency, recycling and reducing resource consumption wherever technically and operationally possible. At DS Gruppen, we work to ensure proper working conditions and a working environment that supports wellbeing, equality and skills development. At DS Flexhal, new employees are assigned a mentor from day one, and we offer ongoing development opportunities, including in leadership. At DS Stålkonstruktion, we have similar mentoring schemes that support apprentices and trainees throughout their training programmes. As a local company in Hobro, we have a particular responsibility to contribute to the surrounding community. Our sponsorship strategy focuses on “Young people’s mental health and wellbeing”, where we support initiatives that can strengthen young people in their education and working lives.
