By supporting InterForce, DS Stålprofil commits to giving employees paid leave if they serve with, for example, the Danish Defence, the Danish Emergency Management Agency or the Home Guard.
DS Stålprofil is now officially an InterForce supporting company. This was marked on Friday with a ceremony at the company, where InterForce ambassador Allan Lemming Lohmann Buus presented the InterForce shield to Production Manager Rasmus Revsbæk Hansen.
The shield is a visible symbol of the company’s support for cooperation between the business community and the Danish defence and emergency services.
InterForce is an organisation under the Danish Defence Command that works to strengthen cooperation between companies and employees with military obligations or voluntary roles in the emergency services.
As a supporting company, DS Stålprofil commits to giving employees at least five days of paid leave each year for uniformed service, for example as reservists or volunteers in the Danish Defence, the Home Guard or the Danish Emergency Management Agency.

For Rasmus Revsbæk Hansen, Production Manager at DS Stålprofil, the decision also has personal significance.
“It is important to me to make a contribution. I want to give our employees the opportunity to experience the sense of camaraderie and gain the experience available through the emergency services or the reserve. It is about feeling that you are making a difference,” he says.
He also emphasises that DS Stålprofil will support employees who wish to become involved in the emergency services or the reserve.

During the presentation, InterForce thanked DS Stålprofil for its support and highlighted the importance of companies that enable employees to contribute to society’s security.
“We are delighted that you have chosen to become a supporting company and offer your employees the opportunity to contribute to Denmark’s national security. This fosters both a strong sense of unity and skills that employees can also bring back to their civilian jobs,” said Allan Lemming Lohmann Buus, ambassador for InterForce.
By supporting InterForce, DS Stålprofil is helping to strengthen the connection between the business community and the Danish defence and emergency services.
