Mathias Willum Bødker is an IT apprentice at DS Gruppen

As an IT support apprentice at DS Gruppen, I am part of a busy and very instructive workplace where both professional and personal development are in focus. The IT framework at DS is both exciting and diverse, and I am challenged daily in collaboration with production employees, office staff and management. This places high demands on my professional skills, my overview and my ability to deliver thorough work and good service every single day.
In my everyday work, I deal with everything from employees’ daily IT needs and onboarding of new colleagues to server operations, project tasks and troubleshooting. The great variety in the tasks gives me a unique insight into all the cogs that drive DS Gruppen’s digital development.
At DS, I have a strong support network that backs me throughout my entire learning process: I am attached to Nuun Ebert Nielsen, who in my opinion is one of Denmark’s most skilled apprentice coordinators, and Jesper Bach Kristensen, who is my sharp and dedicated master trainer, as well as a team of helpful colleagues who are always ready to support me.
That is precisely why DS Gruppen is the optimal training place for an IT supporter. Here I get to learn, grow and contribute right up close to the company’s operations and technology.
