Stine Nørgaard has an EUX Business combined with a two-year apprenticeship as a commercial trainee at DS Ståprofil
Today, Stine is employed as an internal sales assistant at DS Stålprofil.
I have a graduation cap from EUX Business in Aalborg – a two-year, upper-secondary business education with a final exam. I chose to combine my education with a two-year apprenticeship programme at DS Stålprofil.
I was given an insane amount of responsibility
It has been a super exciting training programme, and I was given an insane amount of responsibility from day one. I wasn’t “just the apprentice,” placed in a corner with tasks no one wanted to do. DS Stålprofil has no “apprentice tasks” – I did the same as my colleagues in the department, I was given independent tasks, and I got to see them all the way through. But everyone can need help, regardless of age and experience, and it’s a workplace where it’s okay to ask your colleagues for help.
Great lunch scheme
There’s also a good sense of community at DS Stålprofil – both on weekdays and at social events outside working hours. There’s a lovely lunch scheme; it’s a huge plus for me that I can eat healthily and varied – I can’t be bothered with packed lunches.
